No real anti-Asian issues here, they make up 15.3% of our population, many are now third generation. There's been a bit of angst between some Island gangs and Chinese but it's minor.

Yep, but many are now getting rather long in the tooth! There was a big police clamp down some years back and since then they've quietened down. BP have a headquarters in Auckland where they run a business. Occasionally the PB and MM have a go at each other and the police leave them to it unless there's a death.

Of concern is a motorcycle club/gang called the Head Hunters who run lots of local business and are into money laundering etc!

Yep I've heard it's difficult for ex gang members to leave!
Just heard on news that that Melbourne guy is among 8 new CV's relating to the protests, blimin' heck!! Intense contact tracing required now.

They're contact tracing already but with a crowd like that I don't think it will help.
