You are all talking a different language now...!!! I haven't a clue what signal I get so long as the wretched thing works!
Have to say that I find the sidebar a pain and I have to collapse it constantly. Why is it necessary or is that a stupid question?
Ok cool... There's a little arrow at the top of the sidebar that colapses it and it stays that way. Any way to use the same button to expand the screen and keep it that way? As it is now, you have to hit the side bar button every time you open a page to make it full screen.

Thanks, FMP. I'll admit to the title of Forum Dinosaur!
Indeed - the little button highlighted on the attached.

Yes but every time you open a page you have to click it to view the page in full screen. When you click the smaller one at the top, the sidebar collapses up and you don't see the whole thing. Personally, I don't need to see the sidebar at all so I'm just asking if that button you pointed out could work like the other one.

I think Alex has opened a can of worms

One of the only constants in life is change. You can't make any changes without some growing pains. And no matter what you do, even if you do nothing, no one will ever be 100% satisfied.
I'm still a work in progress.

It would be better if it stayed collapsed when you move page. However I got the impression Alex just did a quick fix to help mobile users as he is still working on forum improvements.
