what is the most annoying noise to be heard by a insomniac?

your husband/wife/significant other snoring next to you.

i have felt tired all day even been fighting to stay awake so i can spend time with hubby, now it comes to bed time and yup u guessed it i am wide awake. not exactly depressed just p****d off.

._. insomnia sucks. i used to get it before i had an important exam or lecture the next day while at uni, i always seem to get it when i have something important to wake up for so there is pressure to get a good night's sleep if that makes sense.

i'm sorry to hear you're not too happy :(

i reckon the worst noise is when you don't know the time and are convincing yourself it's really not that late, and then you hear the birds singing outside ._.

I used to wear earplugs but they caused a wax build up so gave me bad ears! I do like Nicola now.............and nor do I now get pushed out of bed or have someone pinch the covers!!!!!!

On a positive note, I have a sound machine with relaxing sounds to help you sleep, and if I cant sleep i listen to classical music on my i Pod. Just worried that I might strangle myself on the wires LOL!

oh that is the WORST! When you haven't slept or think you have barely slept and then you should be getting up for that important thing the next day! In my case it was usually an exam or a lecture or something... i used to hate it ._.

and yet i still miss uni ._.
