The sensations you're feeling aren't relevant, and we don't need to know about them.

This won't get any easier unless you accept that the only thing wrong with you is anxiety. This is an anxiety board, and there are so many people who want to share their wealth of knowledge.

You seem to have zero interest in actually feeling better, though, and until that changes, there's not really much anybody here can do to help.

I really do want to feel better.
I'm not able to speak to my parents as there elderly.
I know that anxiety can cause all sorts of physical symptoms, but theres always a voice in my head saying "This is real"
I feel heartbroken that I'm existing and not living.
The pain in my leg and groin is real, but maybe not physical!

And you're still logged on seeking reassurance You have to know words on a screen won't stop you from worrying no matter what they are. Why not log off and go for a walk or something? Find the inner fortitude to at least take a step toward helping yourself.

Has anyone taken this and what side effects did you have.

    Re: Bowel obstruction

I'm on it right now, have been for over a year now and it's most of the reason I'm functional these days.

I know side effects vary, but when I started citalopram (and again when I stepped up my dose), I had a couple of days of feeling completely stoned - on the second occasion I took an afternoon off work because my head was so fuzzy. Not exactly an unpleasant sensation, though.

Nausea lasted a little longer, maybe a week to ten days, and the weird dreams and general tiredness have mostly stuck around. That's because I sleep really badly anyway, though.

    Chin up, and stay positive.
