lustral withdrawal?

Hi

I've been taking 100 and then 50 mg of lustral (zoloft) for the past 10 weeks and stopped taking them last Thurs on advice of my doctor. since then I've felt really wierd/unreal/out of it and my body feels very weak/I have no appetite to eat etc. There are some points where my eyes don't seem to be able to keep up with my brain(!!) is this 'normal' for ssri withdrawal???
I'm worried I;ll be like this for the rest of my life..

Sounds like you came of them too quickly to me as I cut down from 100gm to 50gms and have now had to increase them as I could feel myself getting down again. I have been told by my counseller that I should have taken 100gm 1 day and 50gms next day I don't know if that is what you did but my doc cut down from100gm to 50gm straight away. I've been off them for 6 days so I think I'll have to keep going now and see what happens. I haven't had any luck with meds to help with my anxiety etc over the past 20 yrs so have really given up hope of finding any med that's going to help now.
