You do have to wonder about this kid Phoenix. A powerful scene though.

Here's a beginning scene in Ingmar Bergman's Seventh Seal. The Knight meets death:

Groundhog Day is my favorite movie. It's so hard to pick a favorite scene, but this one is up there!

I always like the end scene in The Shawshank Redemption where Red walks along the beach to finally be reunited with Andy. No words needed, it just pans out.

    Classic film.

I would struggle picking a scene from Planes, Trains and Automobiles. One scene would need a swearing warning on it

That is an amazing scene (and movie)! We went on a road trip a few years ago and stopped at the abandoned prison where they filmed this (it's in Ohio and you can tour it). One of the coolest places I've ever been! We wanted to go to the oak tree where Red digs up the money, but it had been struck by lightning and fell down a year before we went.

Wow! Those are great pictures Erin. Shawshank was a terrific movie. But for awhile there it was on just about everyday. But a classic prison movie. Come to think of it there have been a lot of prison movies. Like this classic:

Cool Hand Luke 1967 - Failure to communicate.
