Again, there is no other way of posting it? I'm trying to be positive in my own head, despite the struggle, and the current panic attack.

On a more positive note, I've eaten 2600 calories today, and that is something that will make life easier, when I get used to the sensation of being 'full' without it causing panic.

I just tried to sit quietly for a few minutes, mindfully just messing about, chilling out, and I am now having a full blown panic attack. I've got to conquer this aspect of my life, because it's horrible that I can't sit with myself.

Two hours on, and I'm just a bad, trying to tolerate it, and show myself that there is nothing to be frightened of, but it just keeps spiking. How does anxiety sit at this level for that long?

Again though, my heart rate is 75. So my body is effectively quite calm, it's all cognitive.

Because you have created a monster out of it, and give it your undivided attention.

I have an odd question this morning, that could go a long way to helping me.

Last night I got myself feeling OK for an hour, and then had a group chat / Xbox session that made me forget my nonsense. What it did do though, was raise my energy levels, and I've woken this morning anxious, not quite with it, but a slowing down of thoughts, and I'm almost hyper. I don't know if it's me overreacting to normal sensations of having some bloody energy, or if it's just another symptom of anxiety, but it's bloody horrible. I'm sitting with it, and trying not to overreact, but it feels like I'm just going to explode into panic at any minute.

It's just one of those things.

Focus on the fact that you were able to get yourself feeling ok, not the anxiety symptom. As with everything else, there is no 'reason' for this other than it just being here right now.

If you got yourself feeling ok once, you can do it again. Keep practicing that.

I was good last night, and it came after my run.

Yeah, I wouldn't say I'm particularly bad today, I think it's my anxious brain being scared of having this energy and the panic coming with this same energy. It's just proof that I can worry about, and be scared of anything.

It's chasing that perfect energy/clear headedness/calm/not worrying that is just unrealistic right now.

It's odd because if I could just accept how I am right now, without reading into it, I reckon I would be OK.

Instead, I've just eaten and have turned it into a panic attack.

As a side note, I ate a 16oz t-bone steak on Saturday night, so you can imagine what that did to me.

    Filled you with delicious steak?

Seriously, though, I commiserate. Try to breathe through it?

2-3 hours of meat sweats and palpitations?

    In other words, worth it.
