    Period clotting normal?

I know yea I’m posting again but this is different. I’m on my period now and I’ve noticed last three months maybe more I’ve had very heavy periods painful too and I get a lot of clotting. The past two times I also get really bad sciatica with my period and I googled and ofc it says it’s bad could be fibroids endometriosis or worse. Is clotting really that bad anyone get these and are fine? Heavy periods have been a problem for me it definitely caused my low iron

I get loads of clotting, yes. Unless they're enormous (like, really enormous) they're no big deal.

Clots are normal and I do find that I cramp much more when I’m experiencing them (they have to be pushed out of the uterus so this makes sense) I’ve even read that in some rare cases the entire lining can actually be expelled as one, which sounds both far more convenient and utterly terrifying!

Decidual casts, yeah. I've read about those, they're frightening!

Yes, that’s it! Couldn’t for the life of me remember the term. Part of me thinks it could be easier to just get it all over and done with in one go though! I hate the prolonged mess/pain of it all but I doubt it works quite like that!

I know even largish clots are painful enough; I don't think I'd be woman enough to expel one of those!

I get really painful periods and I get clots as well. I went to the doctor about it about three years ago and she gave me two pills: a painkiller and a blood thinner to make the clots go away. They work really well and I haven't had any serious problems with them. I'd recommend going to your doctor if it hurts a lot since they can probably help you. I don't think it's necessarily anything to worry about though: there are a lot of women like me who get really nasty periods who don't have a serious medical condition!
