Just keep repeating "I want my life back" in your mind when you feel the need to ruminate and post about your symptoms? It'll be tough because your HA is very well established but you really don't want any more tests...You've seen how pointless they are when reassurance is so shortlived and you're on to the next "illness" very quickly.

Do you have access to the local CMHRS? It may be helpful to have a key worker assigned to you who could help to support you whilst you are waiting for therapy? xx

I do have a support worker , who did my initial assessment and has called a couple of times to let me know about my assessment with the psychiatrist. I’m not keen on her, but I could contact her if I really need to.
Second day of pregablin today, I actually feel slightly calmer already.
My anxiety over the last four months has had such a negative effect on my body.
I will keep saying I want my life back xx

I know how alone you must feel when "support" is pretty patchy and you're battling unhelpful thoughts all day and every day. It's exhausting just getting through each hour. Do you manage to get unbroken sleep at night?

I do manage to sleep which is good. Getting pain in right groin and side, panicking it’s appendicitis, but I’ve thought this so many times.
Have only been taking two of the pregablin , because of the drowsiness, but this has got better, so will take three today.
I really do want my life back x

It's tough, but most of us have been there and it sounds as though you're doing brilliantly well.

Work up to taking the therapeutic dose of pregabalin at your own pace, pb. The drowsiness can be unpleasant but it gets better as your body gets used to the new med.

You'll get your life back. You're doing really well and the first steps are the hardest xx

And think of it this way, drowsiness is way better than any other side effect. At least you can get some good naps in.

I really am in despair at the moment.
Ive been having palpitations the last couple of days and today I noticed that my pulse increases by about 20 when I stand and doesn’t go down. I’ve been checking my pulse all day and on the three occasions it did go down I felt like I was going to pass out and had to lie down. I’m now worried I have PoTS.
Still taking the pregablin but they are not really helping with the anxiety.
Maybe this fear is real , as my pulse just wasn’t go down when standing and the feeling that I was going to faint, buzzing in ears and everything fading away.

You know that it takes your body some time to adjust to the pregablin, right? It's not like taking aspirin for a headache. What you're going through is normal for just starting it.
