I liked meeting friends, going for meals, visiting my aunt, going to the cinema and going away for weekends

Would being able to expand your world again be an incentive to be honest with the psychiatrist on Friday and really spell out your difficulties? Explain to him/her that you can't move beyond being convinced that you are physically ill and your life is full of physical and mental pain?

I'd suggest writing some stuff down so that you can read it out if your mind goes blank and you forget what you wanted to say? The really important feelings and fears that you have? Make sure he/she understands how badly your quality of life is affected by this?

My chest is sore and lots of spasms, gp calling this morning.
Scared it’s a heart attack, don’t want to go to hospital, too risky..

Realistically, what are the odds of it being a heart attack? Use your logical head.
