Pb, I messed up the muscles around my right shoulder blade 25 years ago, snogging my then-boyfriend on a rollercoaster. They healed badly, and from time to time they give me real trouble - I suspect this is what's aggravating my ribs right now.

As Pulisa says, comparing symptoms is generally unhelpful.

Right ribs are sore, I don’t know what’s real anymore x
You have entrenched HA, you need to document every symptom/sensation on here, you have difficulty accepting that you are not in imminent danger despite clear test results, you are resistant to any ideas that we may offer trying to help you and always prefer to talk about your current pain and what illness you may have..I think this is what is real at the moment?

"Entrenched HA" is a very accurate assessment IMO.

Hi i completely understand where you are coming from pb when you say you are scared all the time as I am going through a similar stage. I have had a good few years of being really well and managed to get on with my life and now its hit me again. It is absolutely debilitating and it is also awful for our family members to watch us destroy ourselves too. They of course will get frustrated as they just don't know what to say to us to make it better .
Everytime I've gone through this i just seem to gradually move forward but its taking longer this time my current issue is acid reflux and imagining all sorts is wrong as I cant believe the pain and awful symptoms can just be from this . I've managed out a good walk today and yesterday first time in months its small steps like this that can make a difference. And obviously getting the proper mental health help you need which in this current climate is very difficult right now. Just remember you are not alone and even though people on here may sound as if they are getting frustrated with you they are just wanting you to get better or they wouldn't bother even replying to your thread . Just hang in there and one day it will get better . Xxx

    You've just proven Pulisa right.

On a scale of 1-10, what level is your pain at?

I try not to, it’s just my chest and back spasms are so painful, every time it happens I think I’m having a heart attack.
Just had a bad spasm in my chest when I was closing the window, sometimes they only last for a few minutes , but other times longer.
My stool sample was normal, which is good.

I hope the psychiatrist talks to your GP re limiting tests to the strictly necessary.

Did you have a good day yesterday with your Aunt and Uncle?
