No, you can't have damaged your heart. Use your logical head and try to find something to distract yourself.

Thank you, I think I’m going to do an online shop and order some ingredients to bake a cake. I’m rubbish at cooking, so will start with something simple.
Ive registered for an online IT course , so maybe do some of that.
My rational head just goes with my ha and even though I know that some of the things I say are ridiculous, they just seem to get lodged in my brain.
I hope your doing ok x

Not bad, thanks, got a new kitten who's really ruining my attempts to work from home.

For what it's worth, cooking helps my anxiety like nothing else and generally makes me a nicer person.

Don't be too hard on yourself, okay?

She's incredibly naughty, yes. Basically I wait for her to get tired and then shove her down my top so she can sleep.

While having my dinner tonight, I felt a sharp pain as I swallowed. I had salmon and thought it may just be a slight sore throat, but now I’m worried it was a bone and it’s stuck.
It doesn’t feel like something is stuck, but my throat does feel painful. I can eat and drink ok. I have scratched my throat before and hoping that it’s that, but my ear also hurts. Also thinking of covid, but I do not have a temp or cough. Had some upsetting news this evening, my oldest niece needs a place to stay, we have room , but my dad says no.
She is 20 and we didn’t see her for 8 years, I know my dad is getting old (82). My brother asked if she could stay and I had to say that he would have to ask my dad.
Worried as usual, but feel really upset about my niece..

This isn’t really a health worry, but is probably more to do with my anxiety.
Im suppose to have reviews with my gp, due to my anxiety , I keep cancelling and rebooking, when I called today to cancel, the receptionist kept putting me on hold and was reluctant to cancel and rebook and said they were very busy and having to refer patients to hubs.
In the end I said I would keep my original appointment after cancelling it, she had to keep checking and agreed I could have the appointment in the end.
Im now terrified that they are going to remove me from the practice.
Ive never been rude, but I have cancelled lots of appointments.
My anxiety over appointments has got really bad.

Did they remove you from the practice when you called? If not, then you don't need to stress. You're creating something that hasn't happened.
