Catkins, mine have only just come out and we've had less rain but more wind. April can be a strange month weather wise.

Best to check with fishman. I understood that tomatoes and beans don't get on with each other in the ground and the food may not be compatible darksky.

Yes keep your tomato feed for your tomatoes Darksky. Have you got any well rotted manure for sale in your locality? That's good for putting around beans if they're in the ground.

I'm on my 4th attempt on the beans. Strong winds and temperature dropping killed them all. Never happened before but I think we have a late start to the warmth.

Imo beans shouldn't need feed unless you want the presence of the fee-fi-fo-fum giant

I've got mine in the greenhouse Carnation, I think I sowed them too early for some reason. Probably all this going on at home.

I replanted beans direct into the tub this time and they've just sprouted.

Question about pansys. Last year I collected the seeds from some pansys and a friend started them off in her greenhouse for me. A couple of months ago they were about an inch high and she told me to plant them out. I did as instructed and they're still alive but haven't grown at all. Any ideas?
