    Lovely catkins
You've got a bit of a pot fest going on there, lol. You can never have enough pots.
Two assignments sounds heavy, I hope you finding enough time to relax in-between. And you finish the assignments with flying colours.

I've just pot copper tape around my pots and it seems to have done the trick, slugs won't go near it.

Yay I'm so happy I did one. It was on my road so it felt a bit more comfortable. It was brutal work in this heat. I just drenched myself with a hose and my clothes were dry in 5 mins.

That was a milestone for me

Well this afternoon we had a lovely thunderstorm. Which resulted in a few meagre raindrops to placate a blotting paper earth.

Really? That’s not good at all. We’ve just had our third drenching. It’s ruined my taller plants in the borders. But I’ve not had to get the hose out for a bit. So there are benefits.

    Nothing here. Just humidity.

Well the UK is generally wetter in the west and drier in the east. I always remember going to the Lake District as a kid and seeing all the moss growing on dry stone walls.

Moss on the stone walls is definitely the norm up here Fishman, although to be honest the lakes and rivers are getting lower. We really don't cope well up here with heat, our bodies aren't used to it.
