If you look at the Op's post history, she's scheduled for some tests. Most likely, as with all the similar posts, it will be attributed to reflux issues caused by anxiety. 'Told Ya So' gang on standby...

I just hope she gets answers for her reflux. Mine has been raging for months which is usual for me (even with a diagnosed hiatus hernia) So it isn’t just anxiety. That’s an actual medical health issue. Hope she gets the answers she needs x

But i believe it is anxiety that causes it in the first place. Then if it’s something like gastritis it can take a while to heal.

I do. I go through bouts of weeks from it normally after a stressful period. It keeps me awake at night and I just feel yuck all day. Even drinking tea can affect me. And if I drink water I'm belching like a foghorn.
I've only found apples as relief but it has to be Gala.

Hi there worryguts sorry I've just noticed this. Im due to have a endoscopy on Thursday and dreading it. My reflux is so bad despite being on nexiem and acid watchers diet. So scared of what they find.

Are you still struggling? Gerd is a horrible condition.

Fishmanpa I hope you are right and I will gladly come back and tell you .

Good luck Molly15 I do hope you get positive answers. I would be the same as you and thinking the worst. Deep breaths! Every step you take tomorrow is a step forward in a diagnosis and getting better.
Yes I’m now on 2nd month of omeprazole and then I’ll be making sure I get referred if no better by the end of this month. I can’t be like this forever and need some answers, just like you: let us know how you get on xx
