    CT Scan

    If you have a scan on the kidneys, does it show the liver and other organs too?

    Not necessarily no. They scan the area they are interested in.

    Thanks Nicola, that’s what I thought. I had a kidney scan done a few years back and wondered whether it would have shown the liver. I’m sure the Dr said, that’s your liver there, when pointing at the screen though could be wrong.
