    Throat closing/trouble swallowing

My anxiety is at an all time high at moment, and now I'm having a new symptom. It feels like my throat is closing all the time, like I'm having spasms around my throat area. Its happening when I'm relaxing but also when I'm eating which has made me have moments of mass panic as it feels like I'm going to choke on the food. Literally last night, the food got stuck halfway down my throat and felt like I couldn't swallow it or bring it back up, like the muscles had frozen. I'm totally convincing myself this is MS, ALS, esophagus cancer or some other crazy illness/disease. This all started around two months back after I started having panic attacks again and I'm so hungry but petrified to eat anything, in case I choke. Anyone had anything close to this before I run to doctor yet AGAIN lol

YES I've had this many times its very frightening but it is all down to anxiety . It won't harm you and the more you focus on it and worry about eating it will get worse . Im going through similar stuff became of acid reflux so I know how panicked you feel . Xxxx

Thank you both for replying. Its one of the most scariest symptoms I've ever had from anxiety, and I've had a few over the years. I thought with globus, you dont have the actual swallowing problems?
