Are you perimenopausal? Could it be a hot flush?

I have this frequently and see it as an anxiety/adrenaline response. I just ignore it.

I first had it March 25, was advised by GP to go straight to A&E. Chest burning was worse than the heart attack I had. I had burning in my arms once, but the worst was burning in my mouth, throat, nose and eyes. Thought it was Covid as a lot of people in A&E were there for the same reason. Move on 4 months, it has settled but the throat feeling is still there. I saw a specialist on Tuesday who believes itís all silent reflux. Iím bloated too. This makes sense now, as I was still taking a trial drug in March known for GI issues. I found the chest discomfort was eased by taking Gaviston. If I take it now, it stings.

I'm still standing so hopefully nothing awful..I get loads of weird things happening to me but don't react to them ..or at least try to limit my response to them. I've no idea whether your symptoms were significant or not but I would have thought they would have been investigated further by A&E doctors if they were concerned?

I'm so sorry you are suffering, Mrs S...Has this scuppered your plans to get outside more? xx
