Too right! I have the prettiest handbag arriving tomorrow, plus my work friend left so tomorrow I'm treating them to afternoon tea at a very ​posh hotel. Of course that means I'll have to have posh afternoon tea as well, but can't be helped

Glad it's cleared up Carnation. I've had some virus or other since the end of August. I've been coughing for the last couple of weeks but I'm convinced it's just the tail end of this cold. People (OH & work colleagues) keep saying I should see my GP but the thought of doing that is just a no no for me - after a couple of years ago when they did every test under the sun because of a cough, I really can't face going through it again. Fingers crossed it goes away on it's own.

Thanks catkins x. Viruses can take a while to shift and often leave you with an irritating cough.
Plenty of honey and lemon or just lots of fluids.
And if course rest, which is not always easy to do.

It's stopped. So has the coughing. For now anyway.

It turned out it was from my gums.
Nothing to do with my sinuses after all.
