    Throat pain made worse by yawning/swallowing

    Hello, in a pretty big health anxiety relapse at the moment (pretty depressed tbh) due to COVID-19 and right now I've got a sore throat/some ear ache. The throat gets worse when I yawn or swallow. I'm scared it's COVID. Any advice would be nice. Thanks!

    I think we're all a bit depressed due to Covid tbh. I'm not aware of a sore throat being a symptom of Covid so I'm sure it's just a sore throat. They can be pretty nasty - I've had them so bad before that I couldn't bear to swallow my own saliva. If it lingers - you may need a doctor's appt for some antibiotics...
