Anxiety about blood in stool :(

So I’ve had my date through for my colonoscopy, they want to do another blood test before...there will definitely be something on this one ���� if not bowel cancer than ovarian or kidney I reckon. They’ll definitely find cancer on my right side of my bowel I just know it ���� I cant deal with all this at Christmas ����

Sorry but you need to change those thoughts and stop insisting and convincing yourself you have cancer.

Why be so negative about things?

The reason you can't cope is because you are looking at things in the completely wrong way and until you start being positive you are going to keep putting yourself through this hell.

I’m sure you’ll be fine and at least you are going to know one way or another and you can move on whatever the result is (I’m very certain you’ll be fine but suffering HA myself know that doesn’t mean anything)

Well after my flexi sig I stopped checking my poop every time, so I couldn’t tell you if I was still having blood, but the pain I was having has gone completely and I’ve not lost weight or anything x

Being negative is the only thing I know �� I’m so alone and sad and miss my grandads who died two years ago still and another family member who died earlier this year from bowel cancer x

I’ve been thinking about the letter I got from the consultant...’however given your symptoms and the fact we found a polyp, it may be prudent to do a full colonoscopy’ so does that mean they don’t think my blood was from haemorrhoids/the polyp?? Really scared they think it’s coming from somewhere else even though it’s always red, not dark blood 😪 also do you think his choice of words ‘it may be prudent’ are important? I googled it and it means wise or preparing for the future

Don't read too much into it. It is what it is.

You just need to wait and see what happens once you have had it done.

My poop was kind of red this morning 😪 but I did eat a lot of tomato based stuff yesterday 😪 I got a bit out on some toilet paper and no red came off it, if it was blood would it stain the toilet paper? It only stained it brown
