Finally got my Function English skills level 1 results

2020 has been a completely different year for us all

I sat my writing exam last year before Christmas and my reading exam before I went to Asia, normally a turn aroud of 6-12 weeks for my results, due to covid 19 this was not possible.

I got my certifcate in the post (okay a e-paper base one) due to covid19 etc. but with an offical letter of the training provider letterhead explaining this, also mention something about guidance base on the tutor and my written work in class, it was either pass or fail, no grading system.

I am starting my level 2 in September (we got intros on Tuesday) if we go into lock down again, I hope the marking system is done fairly with the exam board.

Also in other news my brain scan results came back fine, and no changes or any new growths in my brain,

Some of the teaching will be done in college, and some work will be done from home.

At least with a level 1, if I get an apprenticeship and have to do function skills I can carry on with my level 2,

That's really good news about the brain scan, Phil and well done for continuing with your studies despite all the upheaval from Covid!

Really lucky that Wednesday didn't get relegated either!

Thanks. Even if me and my friend Shannon can't be in the same class in September (she still has to do her level 1 exam, which was due in April) we are hoping to meet up still, at a safe social distance can help each other with our studies.

I now don't have to have another brain scan for a couple of years due me having NF. still need a follow up for something nothing serious, I think the specialist team also wanted me to have blood tests/blood pressure and 24 hour urine sample done/or sample of urine done but due to covid 19. these may be able to be done at the gp practice I attend.

Yes took them longer enough to decide Wednesday's punishment.

I start my level 2 in September, hopefully we can do the speaking and listening part of the exam first, should be guidelines as well for asking questions, as in the last class I was someone over took.
