Thank you both for asking.
I am still in pain but getting there slowly. I am able to lift my arm up above my head and to the side but can't get it behind my back yet.
I saw the consultant last week and he said the x-ray looked good and bone is starting to grow where the break was. I will never get 100% movement back but I should get a good range of movement in time.
I am back working now a few hours a week and driving (which is a bit painful but bearable).
It will be a long healing process but I have physio exercises to do so hopefully in time things will get even better.

It sounds as if it's been a very painful recovery process for you...but glad that your x ray is looking good and that your range of movement is improving gradually. Do you actually have access to a physio or is that impossible with social distancing? The exercises will certainly help if you can find time to do them regularly.
You must have been in such pain so I suppose any improvement is a huge relief!
Oh, the patience of healing.
And we do take everything for granted until something happens.
But it sounds like you are having good recovery.
Try not to overdo it, it's so easy to want to do everything when you can use it more.
Nursing an injury myself, so I know how down you can get over it, so sending you a hug x
