Breast pain

Hi there. Today I've been experiencing pain in my left breast right at the side. It's like sharp pains every so often. I'm starting to freak out it may be breast cancer. Any ideas? Anyone experience this?

Have you ever had a sharp pain anywhere on your body, for no reason at all apart from a strange way that you've laid or a nerve you've made 'jittery' ? You'd not be human if you hadn't had this happen, a leg, arm, finger, neck....and this is no different in the breast tissue. It could be a bra pressed on some nerves or literally any reason, none of which are concerning. Pain 'every so often' coming and going, and starting suddenly, isn't a sign of anything sinister.

I wouldn't worry too much as by the sounds of it it was only one day?

I have been suffering with severe breast pain and armpit pain for months to almost a year and found a lump a few weeks ago and am being fast tracked to a breast cancer clinic.

I think a sharp pain is probably the result of a trapped nerve, it can be due to hormone levels too a lot of women experience breast pain at different times of the month so I really wouldn't worry, if it were to carry on for a while then give your gp a ring and let them know. But I really wouldn't worry
