Random choke - coughing attacks

Hi

So yesterday I was out walking, and all of a sudden, I kinda breathed in my saliva and started choking/coughing on the spot, like a coughing fit.

And then, like 5 minutes later the exact same thing happened again! So it really freaked me out that it happened twice in a short space of time. (At that point I started thinking "covid?")

Then today, I have almost been on the brink of it happening, but I keep clearing my throat to avoid a repeat.

Does this happen to any of you? It's like too much saliva is pooling at the bottom of my throat...
I'm now going through a list of possibilities and constantly aware of it.

I think it’s just one of those things that randomly happen. It doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you, you maybe just slightly inflamed something from all the coughing, but I’m sure you’ll be better soon.
