acid worries.

Hey, so ive been really bad lately thinking im having cardia. Problems anyway had all clear of ecg/chest xray but im literally struggling so bad with acid reflux i think.. when i went the er he said indigestion but my stimache feels burning and all up chest and throat its effecting me eating etc isthis notmal and a symtom of anxiety? How can i get rid of it because its making me worry uts so.ething much worse.

Its awful and i totally sympathise I have had it quite a while now. How long has yours been going on ? Do you take any medication for it?

I have been told and read lots of info to say it can definitely be caused by anxiety as the body produces more acid when we are anxious and we tend to tighten our stomachs so it then pushes the acid up the way.

I'm going through terrible anxiety over it so I know how you feel x

Thanks for the reply, im just sick of it its horrible i can not eat my gp dokt care been hospital so dont wanna go back again but it is awful have you found anything helps x

I'm on nexiem which is a ppi it helps a bit but dosent take symptoms away completely. You should ask your doctor for something. How long have you had this?

I may, only this past week and half. But ny anxiety has been at its highest :( i honestly just feel like my bellys is so full also is this normal?

I think anxiety plays havoc with our digestion unfortunately.
