Hi, I had the Oxford/AZ on Saturday. I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I did not feel the needle at all. I didn’t even know she had done it. It’s a split second and not even slightly painful. I was really worried about side effects too, but please don’t be. I had a bit of a fever for a few hours and some aches, but nothing that stopped me having a completely normal weekend. All over in 24 hours. I am glad to have had it done. Good luck, you’ll be absolutely fine.
Oh dear, that was supposed to be in response to the person asking re the AZ vaccine!
Pretty excited (and also pretty nervous) - I have my first dose appt on Friday afternoon. Not letting my nerves overrun me by any means, but am anxious for it to be done and over with!!
I’m so happy! I got my vaccine today! The Johnson and Johnson one! Every person I hear about getting the vaccine makes my heart a little lighter!
I'm still a work in progress.

What? In the U.S. they are giving the jab to young women in their prime already?

Glad you've had it. Teachers here aren't getting priority, neither are police officers, as research doesn't show it as a bigger risk factor than age but once you get below the priority groups you would think there has to be something that guides the rollout?
