Silver linings P, you've just got to look for them.

Today a delivery driver, on the doorstep, said to me - 'You probably had your vaccine a while ago, and the second one at that ?' I replied that I most certainly HAD NOT had the second one yet, AND I had my first one a bit in advance of my age range. Gutted.

I had the same thing yesterday, Carys...One elderly lady allowed me to sit at the far end of a bench to her at a tea room yesterday because she was sure that I would have had both jabs by now! Gutted too! Judged by vaccine call up

Maybe we should get some " Precociously Jabbed" lanyards to complement the sunflower one?!

In answer to your question, the evidence so far suggests that one vaccine dose reduces transmission by up to 50%. We will only really know the true extent of how the vaccines reduce transmission when enough people have received both vaccines and enough time has passed.

You don’t need to be a doctor to figure this out, N, just someone who can have a basic degree of logic and someone who listens to experts rather than far right loon balls. You’re incapable of both, so anything else you need explaining I’m here for you ok.

I nearly bought a t-shirt with the following on it:

"I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you."

I wished I had it yesterday, dealing with someone at work.

Haven't you got one of these? I know you are into bats...

(Not sure where the caped crusader keeps it since I don't think the batmobile has a boot and that's never fitting in his utility belt...)
