    Re: The vaccine

My Partners Nephew had his vaccine just after Christmas. Yes he works for the NHS, but he works in an office out the back with just him and his mate, never goes into the hospital and has pretty much worked from home since last March.

He is 32, goes to the gym, runs marathons etc, so is mega fit, so not in any high risk group or anything.

Answers on a postcard with that one...... Yes he works for the NHS, but as per usual, no forward thinking! What a waste of a vaccine when others with more need are waiting.

She got a letter in the first lockdown but not since. That advised her to shield. However she phoned our surgery about 10 days ago and the receptionist said she was in group 6. Could a GP have reviewed her status since and downgraded her? That's the only possibility I can think of.

Yes I think GPs make the decisions on groups.

My son has heart and kidney issues plus his stomach has been moved into his chest. He's also got suspected IBD. He works in retail and is in group 6.

    Re: The vaccine

OK this is on our GP practice website -

When it is the right time people will receive an invitation to come forward.
For most people this will be a letter, either from their GP or the national NHS. This letter will include all the information you will need to book appointments, including your NHS number.
Please do not contact the NHS to get an appointment until you get this letter.
    We await a letter...

Shouldn't he has been in group 4 Pulisa? How extremely vulnerable do you have to be?

Well the target of 15 million first doses has officially been met today, a day ahead of the original deadline date.

    Wow!
