I 'think' I had Covid back in February. I was ill with flu type symptoms, gastric, cough etc. Felt like I was dying - which isn't unusual for me. I'd been to the hospital a week or so previously for a scan. Hubs and my son just seemed to have colds. At the time, I put it down to my fibro making things worse...

Hub's uncle died of Covid a few months ago, only for him it was a 'blessing' because he had terminal cancer. He instructed the doctors not to intervene and to let him go. In that, this horrible virus did him a favour.

However, when Hub's dad went into the hospice a few months ago - he was only allowed to look at him through the window. He and his siblings had to stand outside in the cold and rain so his dad could know they were there. They did allow one of them in at the very end, and it was my husband, but by then, his dad was unconscious..

Thanks for all the lovely replies and so sorry to hear that other NMP members have lost loved ones because of this.

All very sad isn't it and no end in sight yet.

Same with me and my parents who thought we may have had Covid back in February, but sadly the doctors didn't seem to be interested at the time and seemed to play it down.

That all soon changed by the beginning of March though, when they (and the authorities) finally woke up to the stark reality of this pandemic, which was actually far worse in this country alone than what was realised at the time.

Luckily, we had all recovered from whatever we had by then.
