Constipation, abdominal pain and heat sensation

Hope someone can give me some insight. My 79 year old mom has been constipated, and with occasional periods of abdominal pain. The weirdest symptom though is that she also feels like her belly is hot or she feels a very hot sensation in her abdomen. Of course I am already worried about colon, ovarian, pancreas cancer etc etc. Any insight on any of these symptoms?

Constipation is often accompanied by some abdominal pain. As far as the heat sensation, no one here can truly offer an explanation but at 79, it probably would be best to give the doctor a call.
