Hi all - while everyone has a favourite song, theres usually a whole bunch that people like. Some I feel more applicable to how I'm feeling at one time than another. I'll post the one I've been listening to most often at the moment.

I'm not looking for a critque on bands or even the words - I'd just like to share what hits home right now, and hopefully in turn be enlightened by what others listen to.

No points for naming the band or the song, just something I've been singing along to of late. I'd be interested to hear other peoples moods / day / present thinking through music / lyrics. BTW - this isn't my usual taste, just in case you were wondering whether I was an aging Rod Stewart with long hair

This song always reminds me of feeling stressed out , infact when I gave birth to my son in hospital this was playing on the radio and I remember saying omg this is my song ,lol.

Thanks for that Mirry - I know lyrics can have a lot of meaning to many people.

I really should have posted myself last night. I was *almost* convinced my other half was up to something. I made sure I got all the facts first though, but the evidence didn't look good.

After gathering all the info, making several calls, pulling a few favours I had a name, address and other details of this "other man". Turned out to be my other halfs best friends brother and her friend had been using his phone as she had no credit.

I spent the entire day working myself up for nought.

As its an oldy, I won't post the lyrics, but "Suspicious Minds" by Elvis would have summed up yesterday perfectly.

When I was at my worst with anxiety I always found the U2 song 'stuck in a moment' inspiring, it still makes me cry when I hear it. The last verse is the most poignant so I’ve only posted that (you can google if you want to see the full lyrics, or go to you tube to hear the song).

Hi all - gotta go back to Elvis again (seems he had a song for every occasion). While I'm not a big fan the lyracist, or maybe the man himself was very insightful.

I hide all this from my family, but heres a song that had me in tears last night ......

While I substitute the names, the words maen no less. I have a loving other half, but still can't help myself emotionally. If you think I've missed the meaning, I'm not lost at all - my daughter should come first.
