Lump not showing on ultrasound or ct

I went to see my gp as I had a small (maybe 1/2 cm) soft rubbery moveable lump right under the skin in my stomach. He said he could feel it as well but wasn’t concerned and sent me for an ultrasound. The tech couldn’t see it at all and finally was able to after I stood up. She snapped a few pics and I got a call yesterday from my dr saying nothing could be seen at all on the ultrasound. He said just to leave it (I should mention I had a ct a few weeks ago for left sided lain which showed nothing except a mildly 14 cm enlarged spleen), no lumps were seen on the ct. Why wouldn’t the lump show up if we can both clearly feel it?

Isn't is just a fatty lump or a cyst then?

He said he has no clue what it is just that it didn’t show up on ultrasound so he wasn’t concerned

Ok well if they aren't concerned then I would move on from it
