    Air bubble in vagina

    Hi everyone,

New here, thank you for your time.

I have pelvic floor dysfunction that usually presents with burning and frequent urination and urination urgency. I went to PT and the symptoms went away. I've been able to keep them under control for about 2 years now.

Over the last few days I've had a sensation of an air bubble sitting in the opening of my vagina! It's not an air bubble though because moving doesn't release it. I went to my gynecologist and she said no prolapse, no fistula, no infection...she referred me back to my PT. So I made an appointment a week from today.

I'm feeling anxious because it's a new feeling I'm not used to and it's so annoying I can't quit squirming around to try to get relief from the feeling. Has anyone else experienced this? Could this be a new symptom of my high time pelvic floor dysfunction?

    Ugh

I'm not actually joking when I say this... but sometimes farts can detour to the vagina (or it feels that way) do you think this could just be a fart that's lost it's way cocker?

I saw the title and immediately thought of the South Park "Eat, Pray, Queef" episode

    Positive thoughts

Will have to look this one out again lol

Most of us 'ladies' have 'queefed' and sometimes at very inopportune moments.

Wayward arse fart or queef - either way nowt to worry about.

    As you were.

Thanks for the replies! It's definitely not a queef it's an air bubble that's like sitting in there that can't be released. Such a weird feeling. No matter what I do, it's there

Update: my pelvic floor physical therapist app was today and she's pretty confident this is nerve related. She has out together a treatment plan for me to try and get the nerve to calm down so that sensation will diminish.
