Hi all,
I know most people aren't health experts on here but I went and forgot to mention everything to my Dr in my phone appointment today (as I always tend to do then typically get nagging doubts later on!)
A few days ago I noticed my finger was swollen, about 5 days on and it's swollen more so that I can't fully bend it or straighten it out. The general thought was that it's infected from possibly my kitten scratching me. However it isn't red and it's in fact cold rather than hot! I have got antibiotics to take but now wondering is this really a bad infection or will it just go! I went and forgot to mention the not being able to bend it and the fact it isn't red/hot! (it's rather more pale except for the red bit where the scratch/bite happened)
So yeah, does anyone have any thoughts on this!? Is it possible for an infection to be purely swelling?
I find it difficult trying to explain things on a phone when the Dr can't see it!
Thanks in advance!
