Doctor just called. She said "Hi James, before I make this referral to mental health services do you still feel the same way as when we spoke in December?".
I said "Yes doctor. I'm not doing great. This COVID thing is causing me anxiety".
And then she burst out in laughter. She was hysterical. Because she was laughing I was laughing but I didn't know what she was laughing at.
After about 20 seconds of laughter she calmed and said "Me too, me too. But this isn't about me it's about you".
It made my day. Still not quite sure what she was laughing at but it had me laughing. I assume it's because I said I'm worried about COVID when the entire country is too.
