BIG Achievement for Ray (Clickaway)!

I was hoping that my buddy Ray would have posted this, but as he hasnt i thought i would do it for him lol, as i am so pleased with the remarkbale progress he as made and thought he deserved lots of credit for all the hard work he as put into his recovery.

Last week Ray Travelled to York by train from down south to join is Photography club, it was a real challenge for him especially staying away from home for 4 days , its the longest he as been away from home in a long time and also he travelled much futher than in recent times. Then he made the effort to come and meet me in my home town i met him at the railway station and we spent a lovely few hours togeather having a look around town etc.

I just wanted you to know Ray how proud i was of you for doing so much the last weekend, i had not seen you since the begining of the year at the last meet up but wow i could see a real change in you, your confidence as grown so much, you have worked so hard to beat your anxiety, YOUR A STAR !

Yep, it was a tough one for me, but I suppose my passion drove me to this meet-up at the end of a 5 hour train journey. Things did not get off to a good start when the taxi didn't turn up and when I did get a later train it was 40 minutes late arriving in York. I had planned to meet a friend on the train, but of course I was behind and lost my seat reservations too.

Throughout the weekend I had to get up around 8am, as opposed to my usual 11 or 12 and so I suppose that was a shock to my system!

It was of course lovely meeting Andy - I really couldn't turn down the opportunity being so close. It was great seeing a true northern town too.
In fact, I'm even letting off that grumpy woman in the bakers

I've been pretty whacked all week, but somehow perked up enough to make it to Kew Gardens yesterday afternoon, meeting some of the same gang. My mindset seem to be so much different and appeared to be on a relative high!
