They say that if you go into a yoga class and everyone is doing the same thing then they are doing it wrong!!
The point being made, I think, is that we all have different levels of flexibility bsed on many things. Our natural flexibilty, the sport we have done in the past, any injuries sustained etc, etc.
Eeyore, everyone starts somewhere. I started quite late and I'm much more flexible now than when I first went but it takes time. The progress is very gradual and as usual the mantra of "little and often" applies and is better than once a week. But then once a week is better than nothing!!
I have a few DVD's but find classes more motivating but that's just me. And believe me, not many people bend like those people in advanced DVD's, not even class teachers!!!
