Have you been taking citalopram for 6 weeks, or only 4 weeks after 2 weeks of weaning off sertraline (which wasn't really necessary, btw)?
I'm giving myself a very hard time for not feeling well yet
ADs typically take 4-12 weeks to kick-in and because you've been on SSRIs before citalopram will likely take longer to begin working than it did the last time. You may need to take a higher dose to achieve the same results. The initial side-effects can also become progressively more severe and/or different each time too.
I do still have side effects like nausea
Ginger and/or vitamin B6 supplements may ease it.
still have diarrhoea on and off
Over-the-counter treatments containing loperamide (Imodium) are usually effective for SSRI induced diarrhoea.
