    Referred to urgent treatment centre

So I'm pretty much in a panic right now. Had these stomach pains since the 11th February. Was explaining it over the phone to the clinician, she said i should be seen and sent me to the urgent treatment centre? Is this bad or are they just sending me for the sake of me staying out of the doctors surgery because I had covid before a few weeks ago? No idea what to do. Anyone been referred there before?
    Thanks

I think you sort of answered your own question. You've recently had covid, so they don't want you at the local GP centre, you're being referred to the walk in GP/A&E who are set up to deal with covid patients better.

Thank you. I thought so but my mind keeps skipping to the worst. Saw the word urgent and panicked.
