    Pains in chest

    Hi

Came close to a first anxiety attack in many a year yesterday, chest was really sore like sharp pains. It’s the next day and my chest still feels sore. Is this normal after having a day of extreme anxiety?

    Thanks

    Re: Pains in chest

Yes, I would say this is very normal. I’ve been experiencing a lot of anxiety this past year and I’ve noticed how my chest muscles always seem sore probably because they’re almost always tensed up. The more anxious I get the more aware I am of an ‘inflamed’ feeling which spreads throughout my whole chest area. It’s not much fun but it is harmless. Do you feel tired?
