Hi all, very new to the site and to panic/anxiety attacks. Desperate to understand more as I am still at the "are you sure thats all it is" stage. Anybody got on any news on whether this went ahead or not or know of any other support groups out there. I need to get this sorted before it flies out of control. Have a small child who is my world and want to be the normal, happy go lucky mummy I was just a few months ago

I'm curious as well, has this idea gone any further? Any group meeting up?

    Re: Support Group....Newcastle upon Tyne

Hi there, I'm very keen to revive this thread, or attend if a group is already up and running. I joined this site specifically to attend or try and organise an anxiety/panic attacks self-help group in Newcastle upon Tyne.

I like the idea of meeting in an informal location like a coffee shop every couple of weeks, however coffee is off the menu for me! I prefer my chamomile Also, I understand that not everyone would like to meet in an environment like this so I am open to suggestions.

Anyway, I'd like to get an idea of where everyone could meet. Immediately I'm thinking centre of town (Northumberland St or Eldon Sq coffee shop for example) for those who do not have cars but for those of us with cars, parking can get expensive. Metro Centre? SilverLink Retail Park?

So, here's to hoping I either get an invite to an existing group or the opportunity to create a new group if one does not exist.

    CHEERS!
