    what is your healthy plan against anxiety ?

    Hi every one , Ive given up on the meds , they just add other symptoms that I just dont need.
    So I am trying to re design my life if possible , so far I have come up with the following ideas.............

    1: follow a low GI diet , so I dont release so much adrenalin.
    2: get 9 hours of sleep a night.
    3: take a complex multi B vitamin.
    4: take a vitamin C vitamin.
    5: take a omega oil vitamin.
    6: start using my progesterone cream.
    7: try to be a bit more active , walking ect, and gentle excersize.
    8: drink plenty of water.
    9: practice my mindfulness and breathing.
    10: chat to more people.
    11: Get into my hobbies.
    12: Go out everyday, even if its to the end of the road with the dog.

    can you think of anything I have missed ? .

    Hi there,

    Love your plan, sounds like a great idea for all of us. I would add;

    * find something to laugh/smile at everyday
    * use positive affirmations daily
    * keep close to friends who understand

    good luck
    Michelle

    Hi Mirry, I'm doing much the same thing. Have only been doing it a week and feel so much more positive already:-

    1. taking B vitamin complex.
    2. taking vitamin C.
    3. do 30 minutes of exercise at home 5 days a week (have weekends off!).
    4. reading my CBT book and looking to try some exercises soon.
    5. pamper myself a bit more - have relaxing baths.
    6. dont get so impatient about things (trying to set up as self employed but need to realise it will happen in good time!).
    7. generally try not to rush around at full pelt and chill out more.
    8 cut down on the amount I drink when I go out as it hasnt helped the anxiety.

    It's strange because I'm feeling "content" at the moment - I'm not bursting with happiness hut I'm not down either, I'm kind of neutral. But I'd rather be neutral than down so its all moving in the right direction for me
