Canker Sore/Ulcer near Uvula - Advice

    Hello all.

I'm just looking for some tips if anyone has any... I have a mouth ulcer right near my uvula and there's another one about an inch away too.

It's an awkward spot so I wondered if anybody has any tips to help healing and numbing the pain. I'm trying the salt water but I'm not getting close with bonjela.

I think it's from hot food of something else I've been eating.

I don't google anymore to avoid the spiral.

16oz of water, one healthy tablespoon of salt and baking soda. Gargle 3-5 times a day.

Thank you for reply. I tend to use 1 teaspoon of salt and I notice advice online says 1/2 teaspoon - which does not seem enough to me.

Is your recipe 1 tablespoon of both salt and baking soda?

That's what I used (recipe from my doctors) when I was dealing with the side effects of radiation treatment of H&N cancer. It really did help.
