Flashing in eye

I know there are a lot of posts about this but I didn't find anything exactly like what I had so I figured I'd ask.

This morning when I woke up I had 3 small lines in the middle if my vision. They were flashing very fast and bright white. As I got up and got ready for work they slowly moved from the center to the edge and eventually went away. I get occasional small flashes of light but never anything like this.

Has anyone else experienced this? My HA has been pretty good lately so I'm trying to figure out if this is something to worry about before I spiral again.

I used to have flashing, kaleidoscope effect in my eyes that lasted about 20 minutes that was an ocular migraine.

Thanks for the reply. I've never had migraines before so I don't think it's that but it hasn't happened again so I guess I will call it a fluke and move on.
