    Red Corn in Stool?

So something strange happened this morning. I had yellow corn for dinner last night. This morning I saw that it passed in my stool as a bronze/orange/red color. It was the skin of the corn that I noticed, and the actual corn inside was either digested or gone. I’m trying hard not to freak out. The rest of my stool wasn’t red, no visible blood when wiping or in the toilet bowl. I’ve tried to google if corn can naturally turn this color? Any ideas? Should I be concerned? I feel fine otherwise.

Why were you examining your poo?

LOL I wasn’t “examining” it per say. But I did notice it before I flushed. I’ve started to keep a check on what my stool colors/consistency looks like to make sure things are good after I developed a health anxiety scare last year. So I glance before I flush every so often. This was odd to me, as corn was yellow when I ate it but appeared a bronze blood orange color coming out.

I thought this as well. I know corn can turn brown if you boil it for long or when it starts to go old.
ive personally never seen it turn orangish bronze red before, so that’s when my HA doubts kicked in.

But yes, that does make sense.
