Weird gas pain

I need some help with an ungoogleable symptom. Just ideas what might be causing it. For about a week and a half I've had this lower left pelvic pain, it's a mild on-off pain like being poked, a bit sharp. For two days it was for most of the day, then it died down and now it only happens immediately before I pass wind. So like, I feel wind move across my gut, then I feel a tiny sharp little pain in the lower left, then I fart. What the hell is this? The reason I'm not going to the doctor is that the pain is so mild it would be a totally ignoreable non-issue IF I had any idea about what might be causing it!

But it so consistently and predictably in a single area! Gas pains are normally random and all over the place.
