Stiff neck in same spot every morning

For the past week the back right of my neck has been stiff every morning accompanied with a slight “headache”. The stiff neck is right at the base of my skull on my right side and sometimes causes pain radiating to the top of my head. The stiffness and pain gets better throughout the day but I’m freaking out why this isn’t going away and that I’m getting these headaches. I’m a long time sufferer of tension headaches and migraines and this started after a bad episode of a tension headache

Sounds like you are doing something at night - maybe need new pillows or mattress.
