Has anyone got experience of these? Have one from 30 years ago and has rarely bothered me . On few occassions when its been little more tense BM I find a grazing of bright blood on the centre of the tag. Do you think this is just pressure.?

I have several anal skin tags for a number of years, the doctor saw them again recently when she examined me, says they are nothing to worry about. Sometimes I get spots of red blood on the paper when I wipe from them.Originally Posted by Zee
An anal skin tag means there might be a fissure underneath. It might be the one causing the blood when you wipe.

Stands to reason that the occasional tricky turd will catch on these buggers on exit. If your poo is a bit hard, try a stool softener.
A thought is harmless unless we believe it.
