I already know the answer to this but I’m just going to post anyway for my own peace of mind.
I’m finding this forum so helpful at the moment and it’s nice to be able to sound out others who know what this whole anxiety hell is like.

I’ve always suffered with a bit of IBS (D). Very sensitive to foods and stress.
Over the past 5-7 weeks I’ve been under a lot of emotional stress and my stomach has been playing up quite a lot. Tend to be having a lot of softer stool and episodes of diarrhoea with occasional normal inbetween.
I’ve had this before in periods of stress but with my mind the way it is at the moment I’m just worrying.
I’ve also not been eating most days and have lost about 10lbs.
I’m on my third course of antibiotics in 4 weeks after I was misdiagnosed as having a UTI twice (actually have pelvic infection and now on metronidazole)

I know that everything above is the logical answer to my question but am I right in thinking my stomach is just off because of stress/poor diet and lots of antibiotics?
And the weight loss the same? Especially not eating.

I can’t get out of my own head 😩

Hello, I hope you are well! I see it's been a while since you posted this but just thought I would chime in that, yes, absolutely all of the things you posted would attribute to your stomach being off.

I hope you are doing better and that your infection has gone! Just remind yourself that for a long time after antibiotics your gut flora can be all over the map. It's normal!
